DASH Diet: Two weeks later

Today’s the 14th day of our DASH diet.

We actually made it! : ) Still reading the DASH Diet Book cover to cover. I had doubts about my self-control, especially with the no-rice aspect, but fourteen days later and we still haven’t eaten rice.

I’m pleased to report that we’ve both lost weight already – him more than me, but that’s OK. Guys supposedly lose weight faster than girls.

We’ll be reintroducing other food items back into our lives. Hopefully, I can have some yogurt raisins. For some reason, it’s been catching my attention this week. Another unbelievable thing – now we find ourselves wanting yogurt (Chobani, to be specific).

We’ll still be doing the whole bento thing, together with this diet. If it works, why stop, right?
