Eating Out: Pat & Pat Restaurant | Quezon City, Philippines

Pat & Pat Restaurant is quietly hanging out in Capitol Greenstreet where Stacy’s used to be. I got wind of it first when I read Season 85’s U.P. Men’s Basketball Team ate there before everyone went their own way.

The first time my husband and I ate there, it became a Chicken Day of sorts. Check out what we ordered!

* Cajun Wings

Hard to go wrong with flavorful Cajun seasoning!

During our recent visit with my mom and my sister, we ended up ordering all the pasta dishes on Pat & Pat Restaurant‘s menu, so it became Pasta Day for us! 😆😋

* Classic Meatballs Marinara

The Classic Meatballs Marinara came with three meatballs smothered in a delicious marinara sauce.

* Three-Chorizo Pasta

I thought the chorizos in my food would be sliced diagonally, but instead were crumbled.

* Gourmet Tuyo Farfalle

My mom’s food had crispy fried espada fish, not the gourmet tuyo that I’m familiar with.

* Creamy Alfredo Pasta

Here’s the classic favorite with grilled chicken in a rich Alfredo sauce.

* Homemade Truffle Chips

The Homemade Truffle Chips were thinly sliced and lightly seasoned with truffle seasoning.

* Salted Caramel Banana Crumble

The Salted Caramel Banana Crumble deliciously combined textures – the banana bread was moist, and the salted caramel shell was crunchy.

Verdict:

I am a firm believer in a “less is more” approach. Pat & Pat’s menu have steaks like ribeye, tenderloin filet and sirloin, appetizers, salads, soups, burgers and sandwiches, pasta, breakfast food like chicken and waffles, omelets, fried rice, etc. They also offer pastries, coffee, caffeine-free options, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. They only have two desserts – Capitol Hills and Salted Caramel Banana Crumble. The menu is limited, so you won’t get overwhelmed with choices. I’d rather have a restaurant with a limited menu like Pat & Pat that does their food well than one with many choices yet mediocre taste.
