The Aftermath: Weston Magazine Party @ Maserati of Westport (Part 1) | Westport, CT

Last week, we attended the Weston Magazine Party hosted by The Weston Magazine Group at the Maserati of Westport. The event started at 6 PM, but by the time we got there a little past 6:30 PM, the place was packed despite the rain.

It was truly an evening of fine autos and beautiful art coupled with delicious food and drinks. Works by Matthias Alfen, Carole McClintock, Elise Black, Santo Bruno, Brendan Cass and Kathy Wismar were on display that night. Here are some of my favorites.

Restaurants like Arezzo Ristorante, Brick + Wood, Collyer Catering, Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill, Matsu Sushi and Post 154 were on hand with their delicious food.

Check out this Cherry Grand Marnier Mousse in an edible spoon from Collyer Catering. I love how they used an edible spoon…very eco-friendly!

Then I hopped on over to Post 154‘s table. They served Braised Lamb Shank Mole with Root Vegetable Puree AND Grilled Shrimp & Okra Fricassée on Sexy Green Rice. I confess, I was intrigued by the term “sexy green rice”. Good one, Post 154!

Brick + Wood was also there. We went to Brick + Wood before, so we knew it was gonna be good!

The Truffle Burrata on crostini did not disappoint. It’s fresh mozzarella with cream and truffle-filled center, plus prosciutto and arugula.

Look at these darling bites of Maple Bourbon Bread Pudding!

We’ve never been to Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill, but now I’m adding it to our list.

maserati-09

Their guacamole was very fresh and tasty!

Matsu Sushi doled out California, sweet potato and avocado rolls. I can never say no to these.

Yet another new restaurant discovery, Arezzo Ristorante.

Their Lobster Ravioli looks so simple yet so savory!

Here’s their Tuna Tartare.

Delicious food? Check! In my next post, I’ll share the drinks we had courtesy of Chamard Vineyards, Scorpion Mezcal, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Don Q Rum, Southport Brewing Company and Redemption Rye.
